INTRODUCTION TO CROSSFIT FOUNDATIONS

If you are new to CrossFit or simply wanting to get back into shape, then this Foundation Program is for you. Our small class size and attention to proper movement mechanics will provide the peace of mind a beginner is seeking. At CrossFit PDX, we believe that the best way to reach one’s strength and conditioning goals is through careful and deliberate attention to movement.

The Foundation Program is designed to assess your current level of fitness while teaching you the foundational movements used in CrossFit. After completing the program you will have a clear understanding of what it means to be fit, and the knowledge to get yourself there. Movement techniques will be drilled as well as a progressive introduction to the intensity levels that are inherent in our group classes. During class time we will warm up with dynamic and/or self myofascial release stretching, learn new skills (CrossFit Foundational Movements, running technique, gymnastics movements, Olympic lifts), complete a workout of the day (WOD), and cool down with discussions on nutrition and other various topics related to fitness. After successful completion of the Foundation Program you may then continue your training in our group classes.

COST: $110

THIS INCLUDES 2 WEEKS OF THE FOUNDATION PROGRAM AND 2 WEEKS OF GROUP CROSSFIT CLASSES. THIS WILL PROVIDE YOU THE SKILLS AND AWARENESS NEEDED TO CAPITALIZE ON THE FITNESS METHODOLOGY OF CROSSFIT AND EXPERIENCE OUR COMMUNITY OF ATHLETES.
